It’s wrong to recognize “Peace” as simply “Status without War”. “War” is a highly sophisticated and magnificent “System” for the last resort to solve international disputes, as to say outgrowth of “civilization” which is the concept antithetical to “barbarism”. It means that we should recognize “Peace” as a “System” to be established and sustained only by enormous efforts equal to “War”, and also means the establishment of “Peace” requires much more cost and energy than “War”.

Democracy does work ?

Democracy is not an equipment to select correct answer, but to dilute responsibility for the result of the decision among voters. If it’s yes, every private companies would decide their important issues under majority rule, however we can’t find such companies likely because they all have already gone bankrupt.
